Sick Day

by Equestriangradstudent

Stupid new students with their stupid new student germs. I woke up this morning feeling absolutely terrible. I rarely get sick but when I do it’s bad. Fortunately, as a GA I don’t have to be on campus for sixteen hours straight. I was able to take it a bit easier, and now I’ll have the weekend to recover. My only real non-skippable duties are Training I and the private training class that I teach. I still got to campus early because I had to sort out groom stuff (because I have grooms! Yeah!), but while I was working Studly with thirty-some people watching and snot dripping down my face, I realized something: I could go back to bed after that. I didn’t really have anything to do until three! What a relief that was. Obviously, the fun part of being a GA is all the extra riding I’ll get to do, and of course that’s what I missed out on today, but at least I was able to take the time to hopefully get better sooner. I can’t wait to really get going with this schedule, I have five horses to play with! But first, I must get rid of these cursed germs. I HATE GERMS! Stupid first quarters…
